About William Zuniga

After working for UPS for 30 years, William Zuniga opted for an early retirement and eventually decided to become a notary as a hobby.  But when too many people called on him for his notary services, he started his own business as a signing service working to find other notaries.  He finds qualified notaries for people and companies all over the country.  He has become an authority on the subject and gained credibility after rapidly growing his business over the years.

In fact, last year he was a featured speaker at a conference in Las Vegas, with 12-hundred notaries in attendance.   It’s the largest conference in the U.S. for Notaries and Loan Signing Agents.  Last year it was held at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.  Zuniga spoke about how he grew his business and some of his successful marketing techniques.

He was commissioned in 2019 by the state of California.  With a strong background in customer service, Zuniga enjoys interacting with people while doing loan signings.  It's rewarding to see people buying and refinancing a property, especially young couples eager with anticipation.  There’s so much happiness with young buyers starting a new beginning.  Zuniga has executed more than 7,000 signings and looks forward to celebrating his 10-thousandth signing soon!

Frequently Asked Questions

Got a question about our notary or document signing services? We’re here to help.

  • How much do you charge?

Service prices vary depending on the type of signing. Contact us and we will find the right signing agent in your area today.

  • I have multiple documents that need signing. Can you accommodate this type of request?

Yes! Our loan signing agents are able to notarize all types of loan signings as well as general notary work.

  • What is involved in becoming a notary?

Every state has a different set of criteria to become a notary.  In many states, an application simply needs to be filled out and a background check is required.  In California, notaries must take a class and pass an exam with a score of 70% or higher.  Students that fail can take it two more times.

Notaries that pass the exam, then receive what is called a commission and apply for a bond from the county.  Errors & Omissions insurance is also recommended.

  • What is an ENO and why is it important?

ENO stands for Errors and Omissions insurance and is specifically designed to protect notaries against negligence in case they make an unintentional mistake.  It is also designed to protect them if they are a victim of a false claim.  It protects the notary from lawsuits that could cost thousands.

  • How do you find notaries?

Through our various platforms, we are able to find notaries anywhere in the US.  We typically execute hundreds of notaries a month. Please contact us today if you need a document witnessed.

  • I am a notary and interested in working for you. How do I sign up?

We are always looking for qualified notary partners.  Please login to NotaryDash.com today to get started!

  • Are there any documents that Sign Docs Today won’t notarize?

We can assign notaries to witness any document you may request, however, we specialize in loan signings for real estate transactions.  A notary’s official job isn’t to dissect what the document says but to certify the authenticity of signatures to important documents.

  • What prevents a notary from notarizing a document?

As a notary, we do not dissect what information is contained in the document, however, we cannot notarize a document that has the incorrect date, is incomplete or the signer appears to be mentally incapable of understanding the document.

  • What cities are you located in?

Our notaries are located in cities all over the U.S. Our services are based on where the client has a need.  Sign Docs Today is specifically based out of California.
